The Nature of Natural Wood Products: Each piece of hardwood lumber is unique and different while carrying similar coloring, density, and grain pattern. Due to this uniqueness each piece I create is completely one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated exactly. From the custom stain color, to the custom sizing, to the slight changes in the curvature and size of each piece of lumber that’s put into a project. If for some reason your order isn’t close to what you see on the examples of images, we shared I’ll notify you of the changes as I’m building your piece.
Stain Samples and Epoxy Resin Samples: All samples provided are representative of the final color and look of the piece. Each sample is created with an effort to represent the final shade and color of each piece. However, due to the variations in wood tone, grain lines, texture and application process the stain samples are only a representation of the final color, shade and feel of the piece and are not to be considered to be identical to the final look of the piece. They are only to be used to get a general idea of the final look of each custom piece.
Return Policy: I accept returns on all non-custom pieces. All custom items are not eligible for return. All items shipped via freight are not eligible for return.
Order Cancellation: Each buyer has 5 business days to process a cancellation. After 5 business days the deposit (40% of the final order value) is non-refundable.
Shipment and Delivery: Unless discussed prior to shipping, Robert Russell Designs will select the carrier and method of shipment based on the most economical shipping. We currently only ship within the United States, but are willing to explore shipment options outside of the United States upon request. All additional shipping costs for international shipping will be added to the purchase order.

- Standard shipping times: In stock items will ship within 5 business days. Custom items will ship within 5 business days after the item is complete. Freight shipping typically takes 5-10 business days after the pieces is pick up by the freight company. Freight carrier will arrange for a curbside delivery with you prior to arriving. Each item shipped freight will be delivered with a lift gate truck; however, each buyer will need to move the item into a safe, dry and climate controlled area after accepting deliver.
- Tracking Your Shipment: You will receive tracking information and a contact number for each shipment within 2 business days of the item being shipped.
Upon Receiving Buyer needs to:
- Inspect goods and notify me within 24 hours of any damage
- If damaged, take photos of the damage and packaging and send them to [email protected]
- I will process a claim immediately with the shipping carrier and work on replacing or repairing the item at no cost to you
- Any claims made after 48 hours of receiving will not be accepted
